ATO Needs Your Help!
Brothers,
The ATO house in Chapel Hill needs our help!
Despite being renovated at periods during its history since construction early in the past century, our chapter house is currently showing its age. As the Alpha Delta chapter cannot sustain itself through the dues of active brothers alone, it is the responsibility of Alpha Delta alumni to maintain our house for future generations. Right now the house is facing substantial repair and upkeep costs, which the fraternity will have no way of covering without the financial support of our alumni. At present, both the estimated costs of necessary capital improvements to the house and the extinguishment of a promissory note to Suntrust Bank due in the next few years exceed $400,000.00.
Alpha Delta is in the midst of a capital campaign designed to make critical improvements to the ATO house and grounds. Ultimately, we hope to raise $1 million with funds above and beyond those required for capital improvements being used to establish an endowment to pay for preventative maintenance and future capital requirements.
We are fortunate to have outstanding undergraduate men in the chapter, as well as one of Chapel Hill’s most stately homes, and we hope all alumni will do their part to secure ATO’s future at UNC. Thank you for your support of ATO-Chapel Hill and this effort. If you have questions about the campaign or about how you can become involved, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Fraternally yours,
