The semester has gone well for the Alpha Delta chapter.  We recruited the following five new members during the spring recruitment period:

Academically the fraternity remains strong.  The fraternity’s average GPA for the fall was above both the all male and all fraternity averages.  We are also proud of seven of our brothers accepted into the Kenan-Flagler Business school this semester.

We have held two successful philanthropic events this semester.  On February 26^th , in conjunction with Kappa Sigma and Pi Lambda Phi fraternities, we held the 1^st annual Carolina Legends Basketball Tournament.  Teams of three played against each other for various prizes including basketballs signed by distinguished alumni Phil Ford and Michael Jordan.  Efforts from this tournament raised money for the National Tay-Sachs & Allied Disease Association and relief efforts in Haiti.   On March 20^th, the 4^th annual Alpha Tau Omega & Alpha Chi Omega Golf Tournament was held.  Alumni, parents, and actives played rounds at The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club. Our portion of the proceeds will be donated to the continue efforts to help rebuild Haiti following the devastating earthquakes.
